It's Official: There.com is re-opening !
Good things will happen to those, who wait patiently: There.com is once again opening its wonderful world for us to enjoy. Read all about it here on Michael Wilsons blog - I Am So There.
We are sooo close to the official launch / rebirth of There - estimate before end of year.
Right now There.com is on a kind of beta-state where only previous members (Gold+ Funpass) are allowed to log in and be part of a stress test and helping finding bugs.
The staff has accomplished a hell of a lot since Michael Wilson first announced that he/they would try bring back There from its hybernation:
- They have restructured the server-system to be less expensive by means of moving to renting server power.
- Membership has changed to a monthly fee of 10$ - no more free accounts.
- Membership is "adults only" meaning only 18+ allowed (it doesn't mean that "adult" content will be allowed).
- A proces for reclaiming old accounts have ben established (go There.com, click "Invite me NOW!" and follow the instructions to the letter!)
- ThereIM (There Instant Messenger) has been revived (download client here)
- 3D world is running in a kind of beta-state for previous registered (and now subscribing) members to test and help find bugs.
- Lots and lots of bugs have been found and eradicated.
- System for claiming inventory from alt-accounts (not reclaimed yet) to one main account have been set up.
- ThereBanker opened for ThereBucks purchase using Paypal.
- All Funpass Levels are now allowed to subscribe and login.

PS: The content on this site is "frozen" so to speak. No updates, apart from frontpage and "There in the news" has been updated since closure of There last year. But I've got plans:
ThereInfo.com will be "resurrected" from "Day 1" of the opening of There2 with new layout and as much updated content as possible. Stay tuned...
